“What Does Canada Mean to You?”
Over the last few months we have been gathering answers as visitors come through our doors. Truly reflecting on their own interpretation of our nation, they have shared their thoughts on maple leaves, which we have displayed at our entrance. We are loving the impact and excitement that this wall has created, and encourage you to try it out at your own centre, home or agency. Here are just some of the responses for what Canada means to the community coming through CDRCP’s doors:
Looking to make your own?
Want to make your own wall? Drop by the office Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm to be inspired by the stories on our Wall of Canada. Use the tools in the Resource Centre such as our maple leaf die-press cutter, or something else that represents diversity and Canada… just make sure to check the Resource Centre hours here.
How are you celebrating?
Whether it is gathering items that symbolize Canada, singing Canadian heritage songs, or reflecting on what it means to be Canadian, we hope everyone has a safe and happy Canada Day celebration! Let us know how you are celebrating the occasion on social media, use #HowWeCelebrateCDA150 on Twitter or Facebook. Don’t forget to tag CDRCP by using @CDRCP so we can see, share and be inspired by your amazing stories!
